Light and darkness. They are as opposite as opposites can get What I’d give to return....To life I knew before... These were thoughts often thought in this realm. Though, most in this realm knew that they’d never see Light again. Some how, and in some way, they’ve done something to get the Light angry, and they were sealed away. Most of which for jut being different. No matter how much they begged and apologized, they were never granted amnesty. They were sealed, against their will, and for as long as their lives may go on for. Some there, however, were not mortals. They were stuck for all eternity, and there was no known way to return to the world they once knew and loved.
On this particularly cold night, the Retes were blowing softly, their branches in bizarre twists, and leaves in abnormal shapes, and the Nomo was shining it’s pale, blue-ish light down upon the cold darkness below. No matter how hard the orb in the sky shone, the darkness below refused to let any light pass into it’s clutches. Below, a figure in a cloak was walking slowly, legs trembling. They suddenly gave out, causing the figure to collapse onto hands and knees. It then fell over on it’s side, an the hood slipped. The face revealing the figure as female. She looked directly before her, whole being expressionless. Though there was no nomo light, her eyes, grey and seemingly lacking pupils, seemed to give off a pale light as she gazed at the world before her. The retes were now dancing to the unheard tune of the wind blowing quickly through them. She closed her eyes, the light now disappearing. The retes were scaring her. She knew not what the were, and it would have been obvious to all who lived there that she was recently sealed here. She stood up, swaying a bit as she did so. She opened her eyes, and kept her gaze at her feet as she progressed forward though this seemingly endless maze. A sudden movement in the shadows jump-started her heart. She froze to the spot, her eyes being blanketed in a veil of sheer terror.
